a friend of mine, i made him a necklace for his birthday and he sent me a lovely pic and when i saw it i just knew i was gonna use it as a ref for this. he's v lovely and i like to draw him a lot. i was going to do a full colour piece but ended up just doing the one palette but i think it still looks cool. like it could be in some kind of 60s surf rpg or something (i want that to exist a lot)
