I decided to do these on a whim, starting with Don Flamenco and quickly spiraling out of control. Sadly, I couldn't do transparency with Glass Joe and Tyson/Dream because the silhouette changes and GIMP hates that.

You can find the original file before I decided to animate it here (good if you want to see Mike Tyson and Mr. Dream on their own).

Don't pay too much attention to the preview - it's at a quicker rate than the actual pictures.

@Zizka: Some of the black dithering was to keep that bit of the original sprites, but just as much of it was not having a darker color with which to work for that sprite, in situations where I really wanted to emphasize contours (see Super Macho Man). It does sort of look overused in some spots, I guess.

Not sure about the black dithering but this really brings back memories. We used to think that Popenski (was that his name) wouldn't fight as good if we let him drink more between rounds.
