I love the wacky look of the original mascot designs, I think making a sprite out of one of them was right up my alley!  I've also been playing a ton of Pokemon lately, and I think that's what inspired this pose... she could easily be holding a pokeball there rather than a pixel, haha.

(yaaaaay, ten years!!!  It's been nice to be here for... what, one?  my pixel journey is only beginning.)
