The characters are hopefully the dude's name, I just pinched them off the cover.
Did a Jojo to get back into the swing of things. I wanted to practice little faces, too.
Kinda wanted to do Killer Queen too but too many muscles, and it wouldn't fit in the palette. | 
The kanji are indeed his name, though you're missing a stroke in the last one, and when they're arranged that way it's very tempting to read them out of order (instead of 1-2-3-4, I keep trying to read them as 2-4-1-3).
I think you did a good job convering the heavily-hatched JJBA style without resorting to hatching of your own, especially on the face.
The character looks a bit off-balance, like he's about to fall backwards. To remedy that, you could either move one leg back, or move the torso forward a pixel or two if you'd rather keep the legs together.
