Cartoon animation shouldn't follow the laws of physics.
Thanks for the useful crits, Pheno. Few questions before I edit it, though. How do I darken it? Do I just lower the brightness of the current color, or use a different color entirely, thanks again for the thankful advice.
The smoke doesn't look right. With the shape and color it would make more sense for it to dissipate, regardless of physics. Otherwise you should probably add a larger cloud at the bottom of the trail (as that sort of acceleration is only reasonably acquired via explosion) and darken the smoke.
I would. but smoke that comes from jet engines don't dissipate that fast. Doing so would defy laws of physics.
Maybe make the smoke clear at the end of the animation, that'd be cool!
I'd probably recommend a dark yellow-gray. Look at pictures of jet smoke to get an idea.
