I have to agree about the brain, since it looks really like a heart, and I assume that something more clear, let's say in the style of pokemons, would have worked better... well, I'll have to wait until the end of the challenge to edit it.

I like this one quite a bit. You need to work on being more consistent/smooth in your lines and colorings, and the brain looks more like a heart, and I'm not really sure what the tendrils are but they look cool. Overall it's an interesting concept with nice color tones/shading. Good work.
