I made a tiny sprite of Rygar.  Rygar is a great classic NES game.  The animation and idea is heavily inspired by the awesome tiny sprites made by another PJ member, Johan Vinet.  
 
The shoulder guard and red top comes from images used in the later 3d Rygar games.  The crown and general suit design comes for the NES Rygar box images.

It's great how the shield is the weapon in Rygar.  There are too many games with swords!

Rygar on arcade is one of the best action games ever in my book, I´m a super fan.

I love this piece, particularly how the shield turned out.

Rygar was such a great NES game!  That sun in Rygar always seems to stick in my head.  I loved how it had a sideview and overhead view during different parts of the game.
