I completed the DOS version back in my day. Tried playing relatively recently, lost almost all lives on level 1. Being old sucks! :D
It is good to know that I am not the only one old enough to know the game.
I used to play it when I was a kid. And at the end of the 3rd level or so the game would always freeze and glitch out due to my copy having some kind of floppy disc error. So I never saw the levels beyond that.
I played this a lot on the Amiga 500 and did complete the game. The ending was very short after so many hours of play, as with many of the old games. There was a Zool 2 as well which was pretty good.
