Omfg please tell me that cobra is a homage to the scrapped ''king cobra'' character from SFIV
@Pheno: I see what you mean about Jones, a good number of his lines lack AA and love compared to the other characters. I must have glazed over them.
Working in digital illustration I see "cel-shading" applied in two different ways - as a standalone term which usually intends to refer to the toon shading of Jet Set Radio, Wind Waker etc, or in the phrases "soft-cel" and "hard-cel" -where the latter makes the same frame of reference to toon shading, while the former obviously refers to the more commonplace rendering style of soft shadows mixed with hard shadows cast from objects.
@Worriedcat - that brawler is Cobra. 
John Jones is a bit jaggedy compared to the other ones. Nice AA and cel-shading (is that term applicable outside of 3D rendering?).
