No worries. :)
Yeah, that's the hardest part in my opinion, leaving ones comfort zone. But it's the only proper way to improve unfortunately. :P
Ahhh thank you so much for the great feedback!! I followed your advice and removed the dithering. The highlight on the dress hassled me my first go at the pixel and it hassled me again during the touch up :/ It's at least a little less in-your-face. And thank you again! :D The palette was weird but fun to work with, an interesting experience. And I can pixel faces all damn day, which is a downfall cause that's what I tend to do instead of exploring new territory lol
This looks cool, Kat! This palette is not the easiest to work with, but you did well.
Two minor things bother me a bit. The highlight placement on the lower part of her dress and the transitions from her legs to the shoes (I'd remove the dithering)
The rest is great, especially the eye. I have a soft spot for well pixelled eyes! :)
Thank you so much! n_n The challenge is proving to be fun thus far, the palettes are simlpy beautiful in IMO. I look forward to working with all of them :D
I thought this was pulled from the NES palette, sounds like a fun challenge! Your sprite looks great!
This is a cool design and good execution, I like it :) Tim Burton-esque.
