Thanks ero!
El carnero de madera que has hecho para el Challenge es brutal, tienes mi voto xD
You can make an opening or game over screen from it. Small edits can be done. (Or at least I used to make small edits, because sometimes I post my work too early.) Anyway you can do what you want, even leaving it like this. I just really don't like when people post out of the challenge rules, especially when they have potencial to do other way. (As I see some people even win challenges with pieces that doesn't fit into the rules, so anything can happen :)
Yeah I get what you mean, Mario in that example would be 4 tiles of 8x8. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to replace this art, since it's my final submission =/
CHALLENGE RULES
I think that you misunderstood, but I will ask it on the Challenge thread: the spite pieces may be the size of 8x8, but the whole sprites can be bigger. Like tiles. If you see the NES Super Mario, even the small Mario is 16x16, and the big -after eating the mushroom -, is 16x32. If you'd see the Duck tales, uncle Scrooge is way bigger than that. You only have to count the spite's number.
But do as you wish, this is just a hint.
I didn't know exactly how to make a NES mockup based on Disney's Silly Simphonies, because imo 8x8 sprites are too small to make them fit that style. But I liked the idea of making something based on Silly Simphonies using NES colour palette. And this came out.
Thanks for the info though!
Did you see that the Challenge is for a "NES mockup"? This picture is ok, but certainly not one of those.
De nada, yeah! gracias por tu voto, de donde eres wey?
