wow comments. Thanks everyone! I'ved edited with updates. hopefully the wings are stronger now. I tried to do similar clustering as well as a host of other ideas to make the wings look good and ended up with this, which I'm pretty happy with.
Love the head, the chest and the tail feather of this griffin, but the wings and back paws could definitely use some polish, I think it would look better, if you fold the wings and do softer shading on them. Typically griffin's back paws are lion like, which also makes creature look more massive and magnificent.
The wings` lines look too sharp, imo. The clusters, at the same time, are wonderful. The palette is also nice.
Very nice. Solid lines, lighting, textures... I like the tail feather.
