I've never seen this one before, but very like other Miyazaki works. But your pixelart is realy awesome and inspiring!
Porco Rosso is definitely my favorite Miyazaki movie, even though it might have made for a better pilot episode for a stellar anime.
I'd add some more animation to the rivers, since otherwise it looks a bit strange that just the waterfalls are in motion. Otherwise, this makes me smile broadly whenever I look at it.
