Insanely detailes textures. It's a piece worthy of meticulous study for how well its textured. Thanks for sharing.

Gordon *hrmpf* Freeman *hrmpf* ... OUR guy doesn't need a stupid wrench to smack up baddies. He can do this with his bare hands! ;D Thanks for the compliment.. and sorry for the late reply.

Wow, great work! I love the colors and the rest!

... and the character resembles Gordon Freeman

Thanks for the praise. I'm quite happy with the pallete myself though it, as well as everything else, might still be subject to change... if the project picks up speed again.

Thank you! This is an updated version of the player character. The first was topless, had less hair and was a tiny bit smaller. I had done several animations with the old revision but then felt like remaking him. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to animating the new version yet. Anyway, glad you like him.. and the trees :D

The trees and rocks are what I personally like best... and making which I enjoyed the most. As for the (ingame) leaves, they're tilable whereas the stones and tree stems are "complete" objects, i.e. not tilable. The leaves have caused me quite a headache and yes, they're far from optimal. Probably gonna have to work on them again at some point. Thank you for your comment :)

I've changed and adjusted the colors probably a dozen times already and will certainly do so again. But I'm rather happy with it right now.. Hmm, we'll see. Anyway, I'm happy you like it. Thanks!

Oh yeah, making the rocks was a lot of fun! Glad you like this. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you.

The leaves don't just look as if they were placed on top of the trees - in fact they are! I wanted to have a set of leaf tiles that could be put together in pretty much any shape, from small blobs of green up to huge masses of tree tops. I was struggeling quite a bit with this stuff and yes, I too am not entirely happy with it yet. Anyway, I'm glad you like the rest. Thanks for your comment :)

Glad you like it. Funnily, I think my partner wasn't entirely happy with my little hand-made font..

As others have said I love muted color pallet and flowy feel of the tree bark (and even stones). I only wish the tree leafs were as stylized as the bark. A beautiful piece.

Looks quite gorgeous, love the muted palette.

Dig the design work on the title screen and the style you designed the rocks.  Best of luck to you creating your game.

very nice

The only thing about this I don't love to much I want to scream is the way the leaves just sit on the trees as if they didn't belong on the bottom picture, but otherwise, just imagine my reaction as somebody screaming in amazement.

Cool stuff. Love the player sprite and logo.
