Yeah, they do. They're meant to be a bit messy, though not as messy as they ended up being. Pretty happy with the sky, though. =)
And aye, Spectrum-Star, some AA wouldn't be amiss, I guess, though I'd first need to re-teach myself how, since all my attempts ended up making the thing look worse not better.
You did a great job making the water look choppy. It seems like you could have cut the colour count down by a couple, though. And you could smooth it out a bit by applying some AA, especially where the darkest shade appears in the water.
The colors aren't the most realistic, as the brightly lit areas make the water look oddly shiny. The composition of the clouds also look a little odd, and the perspective isn't set in stone.
Your shading and detail is very well, especially for the amount of space you put into it.
