Yeah... I hereby present to you... Applebloom meeting face to face with the bane of my existence in a nightmare-like scene. I wasn't particularly aiming for horror though, but I still wanted it to be at least a little bit unsettling/unnerving.
...You have no idea how many times I have noped out over this I'm serious. I honestly wish I wouldn't have had to, because I was tense before I even started working on anything else other than Applebloom, it took me a day and a half to just plain sketch the wizard out, and the fact that I can barely tolerate the wizard is (to me) absurd enough (I am more or less desensitized though). Used this as a heavy reference for the wizard (I hope it ain't tracing since I definitely did not, say, put it over my pixel art piece and just trace it over on a new layer).
Oh yeah. I've also wanted the characters to have different "styles", as an attempt of artistic expression and trying something new. The noisy outlines in the background, which are meant to represent Azrael in form of static, are completely intentional and I hope it's fine. Also, Scruple (the boy with yellow/orange hair and outlines you see) was previously further right, but after seeing it leads the eye away from the middle I decided to bring him closer to the middle... forming the triangle principle thing in the process (I can't remember what it's called).
