thanks :D I used to do illustrations on illustrator so the same methods applied to this, was quite easy to do :D
the colours I picked are inspired by ankous on runescape if you ever played, the colour scheme appeals to me :D
>Heisenberg poster
>not using blue
(Srsly, though, great work on this.)
Heisenberg = omnomnom. I like how this is done :D Luckily I have the Carribean theme for PJ so this looks surprisingly very nice against the light blue background. Only potential crit I could have is the beard and moustache look a little sketchy, but not enough to take away from the piece. Still looks A1, you've captured Heisenberg perfectly.
the lack of background was to add emphasis to the small colour pallet, if you click the picture it adds a white background, generally I would add a background but I wanted to keep the amount of colours to a minimal, I normally illustrate but I decided to do this one as a pixel art to upload here :D
This is more appreciable against a light background. I don't blame you for that -- the only thing to blame is my brain, which tells me that those shades of fuchsia and the gray background of PixelJoint do not work well. The effect is still nice, though.
The attention to detail is impressive. The translation of the sketch into pixel art is really good, too.
I'm not entirely sure if you have to add a background, since there seems to be a stipulation regarding one-colour backgrounds here.
Good point! I didn't know about the auto-addition of a white background before now, either.
I would have commented on you not using blue for a Heisenberg poster, but I quite like your choice of colour scheme. :D
