Just had a look myself.. I had no idea they made that pose so often, I see what you were going for now. Personally I'd still go with a more nuetral pose, but apparently I was just being ignorant.

The perspective is isometric. The back legs were seemingly more apart than the fron tlegs, at lest on Wikipedia photos, athough I've notoriously bad grasp of geometry I've checked everything with ruler and calcualtor. Although modelling with something like AutoCAD would have helped.

Perspective looks odd.. front legs are straight but back legs appear to be stretched out and uneven.
