Very nice! Though it looks more like a courthouse with that stele (which generally served to proclaim law or rulership), along with gallery windows and portico. A library would generally focus on reducing the amount of light and dust coming in, have no real need for assembly areas, and adornment, where it was used, would more likely focus on narrative artworks (such as intricately-carved columns and friezes).
Still the pixelwork is highly-effective and evokes a great sense of light, materiality and scale which I would consider generally uncommon for isometric works, which more often rely on precise linework and leave the textures to chance.
@torquen, thanks.
@Theoden, hmm. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to submit another isometric buildings. I didn't do it before since I didn't see anything special about them, and posted this only because of the dither on the roof.
Ok, will post another ones when they're ready.
Looks like something out of a high quality DOS game. Hope to see more!
@Pixelart_kid, thanks.
@Adarias, wow! Thanks for such a detailed review and architecture info! Will take it into account next time when I'll be drawing libraries of some kind.
And, well, linework was first, right before textures.
