My first character made in 64x64 ,im pretty new in pixelart so I'm looking for feedback especially for negative feedback ,so if you see something that could be improved tell me

for advice on this piece, im not quite sure where the light source is, tho some shadows look good. Something looks off to me though. I think its that his shirt and pants are very flat where the head, legs, sash are not. Something also bugs me about the left eye--eyes might be too high.
