Hey shiro, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your comment, it's basically all of the things as I thought them in my head and were especially proud of managing to learn and put into practice even within a challenge setting, so I really appreciate that someone noticed all those little things C:

This is absolutely amazing! I love the greens in the islands, the blues in the clouds and ocean... and the plain sky really makes for detail in the waves. The ship is also great - the antialiasing making it look just like it has masts and all. Even the sand on the island looks yellowish because of the contast between it and the colors around. Beautiful work, clefairykid.

aw thank you so much ; - ; it's a very long learning curve for me in pixel art XD and mostly I just enjoy landscapes :P

ahah there's really not danger of the dogs being put down, I mean, he's a squillionaire with a private jet, it's no trouble at all for him to just fly them back with a personal dog nanny each haha they are only put down if the person who brought them here does nothing with them XD
