Basically, i played Bahamut Lagoon for about 9 hours and somehow got it into my head that i could do dragons as well as squaresoft, in a similar/same style.  I was wrong, oh well.

I tried to stick to their style and echo the SNES pallet look except for a few notable differences, the tail isnt anything like squaresoft and i angled the head instead of doing a straight profile

Note: light backgrounds are not very friendly to this, as it was done in the style of a squaresoft sprite, and therefor its quite dim.  to do it justice, its better if you look at it on something like a gba or an emulator or something simlar

Also, i made up the name Leopent

pixelled by me based on a conceptual sketch i drew

**edit : removed the ugly teal for another warm blue, nd just took it out of the wings entirely**

Thanks for the comments everybody!

just out of curiosity, what is this blue? do you mean the blue of the skin, or the teal? the teal is completely unnecessary and i added it on a whim (its also easy to remove).  If you mean the darker, warmer blue though, im not sure how to fix it, beyond not having a blue dragon, so if that is it, perhaps you could suggest how to fix it without sacrificing the color scheme?

It is similar to BL, but the blue is out of place IMO. It's either too light or just doesn't go well with the rest of the colors.
Good job anyway.

Reminds me of your "Summon Critter" sprite a lot. Nice texture and everything, and a very good job.

awesome. my only crit could be the blue color which looks a bit like a snes limited palette ( like some dragons from that game look. even if it's just my opinion, at x1 view it looks awessome anyways

It may not be as good as Squares dragons sprites, but it is indeed a nice sprite. I realy liked the anatomy and colors for this dragon, something very unique (although it slightly reminds me Bahamut itself). 5/5
