I'd play it. I'd have called it Microidvania to squeeze both influences in the title.
Does anyone else notice how few metroidvanias incorporate SotN's mechanics, e.g. the itemization and leveling mechanics? Metroidvanias in general are very light on the -vania.
Not very readable at 1x, but then I zoomed in and... Wow, super interesting and detailed piece! I'm quite surprised with the result, to say the truth.
This is great and looks fun.
Greys in pixelart are so important and useful that reading that you avoid them is almost shocking.
In almost all your pixels and style of pixels and art in general I can see little use because you make fun and usually colorful pixels with few colors. Still, the whole 'neutralizers' and greys in pixelart is something worth getting to know.
This look amazing. Some day I'll manage to express as much as this with so little colors.
Blown up by 400%, this looks fantastic! I'd gladly play a full game like this.
Wow, how fast did you make this!? :D Looks pretty cool.
You could use the gray as the darkest color on the green tiles (as the greens are much brighter than than the red & blues that uses the same darkest color).
And it's just "Fun16".
Haha lovely in every way <3
