@CELS Thanks a lot! I agree with all the issues you've pointed out. I might work on fixing these issues later on, though I feel like it'll be really hard to part with that green color I used on the furthest hill (I really like that bit of the scene and I dont know why)
I'd work on a edit right away but I'm busy working on the tiles and such now (pushing myself to work hard and fast).. I guess some quality is lost when I'm speeding it like a madman BUT I can always fix stuff later on (at least that's what I think).
I got carried away a bit with this reply, sorry! Thanks again for your input, I appreciate it.
Something feels a bit off with the perspective, but I can't quite explain it. Maybe it's something about the curved bit on the village message board. I also think the grassy plains need more atmospheric effect. Right now, the closest grass is more towards blue and the distant grass is more towards yellow, when it should be opposite (unless you're messing around with sunshine hitting certain areas)
The castle does look a little bit flat, like you're not using colour and contrast to really give it depth. But it sort of works with the naive style this piece has, I think. The rendering, shading and choice of colours is absolutely amazing. That sky is so gorgeous!
@Orange08
Haha there's a reason for the solid outline >at least in my mind< but you are right, I could of removed it for PJ.
@everyone else thanks a lot!
@Philippejugnet <3
i knew this was yours from the preview
everything is great, but im not sure solid black outlines is the best color choice for the things up close
@Clefairykid
XD hey I've been absent for like a year too
Thanks a lot! :- )
@Melbs thanks! Yeah I agree about the caslte >I tried to make the towers further away lighter but that didn't do much I guess<
omggg long time no see (only just back)
this is incredible, you always keep pushing yourself! :D
I love the grass and the colors you used. Very vibrant.
The castle reads a little flat though.
I like the wood and roof texture
