A bit boring and flat, don't you think? Could you add lots of interesting details to the ship? And perhaps a background? The font could be more interesting too.
If this is a design choice, I guess that's up to you, but I think more detail would make a big improvement. It's always cool when the ship sprite during gameplay is tiny and super-low-detail, but you can see an awesomely detailed version on the splash / ending / whatever screen.
