I only made this for practice because in the game I'll only be using the top 3rd of it. Wait until you see the menu that incorperates the portraits! I'll probably release some mockups here at Pixel Joint within a month or two.

This would also be a decent time to showcase my depixelizing technique. I took the pixel version and processed it into this (it's also a scaling technique enlarging pixel art images to monolithic proportions; this is a scaled down version):
