The story for this piece is a bit long. I wanted to make a custom portrait for my "undefined gender" characters in Furcadia (A furry MMORPG) Furcadia uses a choose-your colors portrait in which you specify colours for your fur, clothes, eyes, and so on. and these are applied to a base picture. That's why the portrait has those fugly colours, because they're to be subdued by the client's instructions. I used an old photo I found at my highschool's photography dept., although it's heavily edited. Whenever I find the scanned photo I'll paste it besides the pic for comparison's sake. The palette has the full 256 colors defined so the pic complies to furcadia sprite standards, but only 61 are used in it.

Uuuuh, okay then. Nice portrait, I like how undefined it really is, you could easily think it's a guy or girl. The coat, the hair and the background really stand out, reminds me of yoshi islands style. I think the eyes and the patches around them need some work though.
