The art is really, really good, but the story is what made me press the second episode without hesitation! i love everything about it, i prefer a story that brings kid friendly insanity that'll make both me, and all my family laugh, over a AAA movie/story/show anyday, keep up the good work!
Yeah, I'll just echo what everyone has said here and on YouTube. The writing, voice acting, pacing, etc needs a lot of work. But the pixel art and the animation is some of the best I've seen in a video like this. I wish I could just download these episodes, mute the dialogue, keep the awesome sound effects and just... watch it endlessly.
gotta say- the art in this art in this show is fantastic! however- I had almost no idea what was going on at any time! Jsut need to bring the writing and pacing up to the high bar you've set with the art I think.
Regardless, I hope to see more!
Thank you for all your comments. I feel I need to explain the story a bit.
Pop nebula dreamer is a comedy adventure that fallows 3 hamster bunnies. When I wrote the script I wanted something completely new and original. The feeling I get is watching the story unfold naturally, without being strung along through a basic plotline. The show focuses on looking at the series at a new perspective. This is a look into the lives of the characters who live on the island of starpom.
There is a story to be told as the series progresses, but that will come in time. I hope you enjoy the comedy, and look forward to the adventure that is about to unfold in Episode 3! :)
