I think maybe the white on the back in general is too much at odds with the rest of the coloration, and it gives it a very distracting look. Maybe substitute it out for a greenish blue?

Yeah, I actually used a black bg the whole process but changed it at the last minute thinking it was too dark.

Probably not a good decision though...
