Heyhey! So this is my first piece I have ever done for a PJ challenge, hope you enjoy. it's a closeup of a red traffic light! :D Not sure why, but the redlight comes up REALLY blocky when I view it on my mac once posted on here...go to if you want to see the image with a better resolution. It views fine on my iPad o.o wierd. Never really got to finish it /: Was planning on adding a reflection and making it a lot smoother. Edit: Fixed Colours.

Good luck in this first weekly challenge!

Not sure what you mean by "blocky", but may I suggest a couple of things?
The outline of the red part looks jaggy in the curves, it could be smoother. Also you have a lot of close reddish colors, some not really distinguishable from another, maybe replace them for intermediary tones usable as anti-aliasing?

The asymmetric light at the top is nice; it would have even more impact if the glass of the red light itself had a slight reflection, you know as a reminder.
