I read that America doesn't even have coins for $2 and that apparently people find it confusing that our $2 coin is physically smaller than our $1 coin. This to me was the epitome of "every day" item, and basically equates to "barbeque" in my mind, since there's always a gold coin donation barbeque on somewhere :D They get a lot of use here so they usually have a really deep set of marks and even huge gouges and melted parts on some of them.
May make more sense for those not from Australia to see the reference photo, it's covered in kangaroos (taken by myself): img13.deviantart.net/90ea/i/2015/179/b/c/untitled_by_clefairykid-d8z2z0k.jpg (I'm guessing if looking at kangaroos upside down is funny for me it could be really odd for people who don't see them at all lol)
I had a really, really hard time deciding on whether to show it as gold like it's meant to be or show it as silver since that looked really classy too, but decided to stay true to the object.

I tried to remember to jump from layer to layer a bit more this time so you can see more in the animation: orig03.deviantart.net/5ff0/f/2015/179/7/3/progressanimation2_by_clefairykid-d8z33wg.gif |
