Hello Pixel Joint!

I have been lurking here for a year or two now on and off, collecting inspiration and examples. This is my first creative piece, an homage to the many wonderful pixel art tutorials out there on the web.

Obviously, I still have a lot to learn. The bark of this tree in particular didn't turn out quite as I would have liked. Comments & criticism are welcome, I have a strong desire to improve so don't hold back!
