@Pheno: Thanks for the detailed advice. I projected frames from a wolf run cycle, where front legs touch ground at different times. I was thinking that I should put the front legs on the ground at the same moment to give a stronger impression. That's what you imply, right?

Back leg animation looks good, front of the body looks like a whole different animation. It needs the same huge, bounding stride on all parts of its body. Also, what's the purpose of the little cyan pixel darting from left to right?
