That looks really great. I agree that it might use too many colors, using the planet colors for the stars as well would be interesting.

Anyway, this deserves more attention imo

Thanks! I'm pretty good when it comes to making random patterns on a globe. It's not a very useful skill in real life, sadly.

I could reduce color count drastically by making the stars use the same color as the planet. The BG actually uses it's own 7 colors, which is probably unnecessary. Glad you like it!

Amazing! nice texture and colors! it's so smooth!

What I think can be improved is the light source and the background, and I think that 28 colors is just too much for this piece.

But again, great piece.
