awesome.
i assume you have also read "better pixel-making, chapter 7: camouflaging mirrored pieces" :)
no wait, just noticed you're listed as author :)
This is great! I so like the "motion blur" effect!
I like this a lot more than your other creations. Not that I don't like the others, far from it, but this to me is sort of like a fresh take on things. I didn't recognize you from the preview and I think that's a good thing. I always really appreciate when artists explore new ways to create. I hope you'll keep exploring, you really have the talent for it.
Great, you really perfected that extraordinary dithering technique of yours! As always, I'm blown away by the carfully placed clusters, perfect AA, sexy colours and sheer sharpness.
Digging the eyelids in particular!
The interpolated blur and slight AA change really give it 3 dimensionality- it reminds me of Jellyfish stung Wario in Wario land 3
The challenge was worded in an ambiguous way, but the intent seemed to be the disclusion of zoomed faces so that the artist is forced to manipulate the figure in order to fill the canvas.
And the face is not both showing and above the shoulders?
"Your image should show above the shoulders of your character."
Neat, it kinda remind me of Gabe Newell, the squinty eyes maybe, dunno.
Oh this is great! Nice simple animation too. I'm just not sure about that chin texture. Apart from that I really dig the textures and colours in the face. Nice job on this!
I was waiting for a great piece from you for this challenge
Dammit, it's published under a pen name, how did you find out!!! :D
