It might help to see it in context but based on just this it desperately needs some head+torso bounce. It's like they're being held up by the face and are flailing in midair..
Same thing as finlal though I think theres conventions about iso weapon and face anim.
Those would look so much more alive if glasses and that thing on the back (sword? golf club? twix bar?) would move too.
I actually tried to make the head bounce along with the weapon to move along the run loop. I think this would work with a bigger sprite, but I couldn't make the animation look natural, and it wouldn't work in the scene.
Oh, and the weapon she's carring is a popscicle that creates ice cubes when used as a sword.
