It's not about color restrictions, it's about using tools that don't offer control at the pixel level. You, the creator, do not control how the gradient looks at the pixel level, so it's considered NPA.
The gradient, while generated, is at the same resolution as the rest of the image. I don't generally adhere to color restrictions.

Yeah, the gradient makes this NPA. Also, no reason to have it zoomed in this much, PixelJoint has a built-in zoom function.
Sorry but we cannot approve your piece as is because of the background issue Dekker and Pheno have informed you about. If you choose to revise this we will let your piece into the gallery at that time. This is a very nice landscape however!
