I am digging all the small details like the occasional reflections of electrical charges on the glass.

The project looks really promising.

The actual piece is also superb, but here are some nitpicks if you still intend to work on it: The creature in the tube looks a bit stiff (maybe try to move the head a pixel to the side), and the little animation of his body is a bit too symmetric for my taste. I would also add some sideways bubble movement, and bubble acceleration (bubbles gaining speed the higher they are).
