I appreciate the criticism. the green is the horn curling back from the skull, but i know what you are saying with the skull drawing attention away.
I like my axes slightly more extravegent. With the skull, it was actually a challenge to do the piece of art in the first place. The dark colors kept blending in with the background when the skull was in the picture, making them hard to see.
The left hand perspective might be slightly off, the thumb should curve more to the left instead of coming straight over the top, i see that now.
I see what you mean about the claws, but I think it's already like you say. Notice the claw of the opposing thumb! Nice feedback though, I wish my artwork was good enough to recieve this level of critique! One day....
Good atmosphere in this with the bunny lurking in darkness. The intended effect is partly lost though bc of how the skull breaks the composition: being uniformly white and brightly lit, it draws the viewer's eye instead of the bunny.
Also I don't understand how it relates to the axe, and what the dark green stuff is.
I'd remove the skull entirely, it doesn't add anything to the horror. Making the blade edge speculars the only highlights would be way more effective, also I'd keep the axe basic. Where would a bunny find a medieval halberd?
The hands position isn't the right one to hold an axe menacingly (one above, one below) isn't clear.
Edit: sorry, "Canvas Size - Max 100 x 100"
dat ass... no, wait, that's just the bunny nose
