It looks a bit odd that the eyes and mouth are casting a shadow (and in different directions, too). If it's flat like the smiley face button from Watchmen, there shouldn't be any shadows, except perhaps at the edge of the button. If it's meant to be a face, then the shadows would almost certainly have different placement.
If you added the shadows to make it look more finished, I'd recommend adding anti-aliasing (AA) instead.
