I suspect the reason this still hasn't been accepted is because of the white background. Make it transparent, since the background seems unnecessary.
There is no nose T_T and no mouth...
Its a tribal style mask, only the eyes are its own :(
The nose you are talking about is the left part of the mask... well yoi can read it how you want anyway ;)
Now that you mentioned that it's a mask, I finally realised what is going on there! I thought it was tentacles or something in profile, rather than a mask with two eyes and a nose. I think the nose should stick out further than the edge of the mask, that should help it read more easily. A little more contrast would also help, the mouth doesn't read like a hole/indent at all.
For the transparency: I should indeed use it, and will maybe make a change if I thaw out ;) for the head, its sort of a mask so the rigidness is kinda justified. But you're entirely right for the tail, I may have stuck a bit with the upscaling, but I'll try it out ;)
Thanks for the comment, helps a lot!
I don't think the white background is necessary, a transparent one would do. Plus, the bright white makes it hard to see the details at low zooms, and it plain blinding at bigger zooms.
The mouth(?) parts all aligning on the left worked in the small version, but it looks very inorganic at this larger size. I think they would benefit from having a more organic, non-straight outline. Same with the tail, it looked fine straight when small, but looks excessively rigid being straight at this size.
Yeah, my bad :)
