I recommend keeping the 64x64 version as the preview image (that's what gets used as the avatar), and the 8x8 as the detail image. If you don't want people looking at it at smaller sizes, then just having one file uploaded (the 64x64, and no detail file) would also be fine.
How should I upload it? I have the original (8x8 pxs), and a x16 (128x128 pxs). I can save it in another dimensions if needed.
P.S: I want to use it as avatar on the site. So... maybe only one upload at 64x64?
It would be nice if the big/detail file was smaller, perhaps even 1x or 2x, so that it could be viewed at any zoom level. Not much flexibility when it starts out zoomed in so much.
