The double perspective thing looks completely natural to me. He's just turning his head as he's caring the goban to the left. The neck rotates so having the face turning forwards isn't strange at all.

You're right about the skin shadow, I've increased the constrast on his skin :D

The goban is pretty hard to make clear though, since the resolution is so small. I've tried several variations but this still seems to be the best presentation to me. Hopefully people can deduce what it is from the character ^^'

I think the biggest problem with this piece is that the head and the body are in different perspective. His body turn mostly to the left while his head is almost a frontal view. The flaw is impossible to unseen once I notice xD

Is he holding a box with shoes on top? I'm not quite sure what it is. The only other critique I have is that the darker pink skin is not dark enough to make a contrast with the lighter skin so they almost look like the same shade of pink from a distance. Other than those two things, great job!

I have toned down the shading on his arms and also fixed a bit his left shoulders to make it look more natural. Is this what you mean? :)

I'd say the sdading over the arm and all over the neck's right are a bit excessive, but that's only a point of view :P

The colors are just fine for this :)
