Yeah i'm new to pixel art,so I wanted to begin with something simple.

As u can see from my previous pixel ther are some cubic characters , I'll probably stick to to those for a while till I become a little better at pixeling.

To answer your question: yes, it's a simple cubic head and I did it on purpose.

The hair(leaves?) looks really good, but the face doesn't have any shading of it going in or out(is it just a cube with no runting out bits?)
