Perspective manual rotation (made with MS Paint), based on an aircraft photo taken from a different angle. Showing some manual antialiasing techniques (specially notice it through the wings lines). Glass reflection and transparency made without seeing an actual reference. The photo its perspective was translated from, and used as refrence : http://93.190.24.12/sp_photo/20121224/90121520121224185408043.jpg

Don't worry bro, there was only the color problem. You can have plenty as long as they're controlled. And when you start color controlling you'll realize you don't need that may colors ;)

You know...  I will put the time lapse... It's a little bit long so it will take a while. If don't approve this that must be because of the simplicity (in palette limitaons matters) it lacks as you told me, but not because you think it is brush achiveved. So I will begin the video edition right now.

Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 12:51

Painting is more like using auto antialiasing brushed which I didn't use (I'm serious) I put each of those pixels there 1 by 1. I'm not using a brush. I made this usign flat squared pixels one by one.

Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 12:46

Well... you know, I still think I have a chance to get a job in here even with these rules I'm not used to work with. So I will make some limited palette pieces just to see what happens... anyway thanks for your clarification. I will search for some other way to display my pieces (as I don't want to change my style) and will stay here with the recently known directions.

Fusionnist (Level 10 Operative) @ 10/10/2015 12:39

Yeah ;) I get it... well "pixel" is the base, as for drawing it would be "pencil" or painting would be "paint", but as a gallery pixeljoint can't accept stuff in that state :/

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 12:35

Ok, I wasn't aware pixel art would be like that. I just thought "pixel"....   well you know.

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 12:22

Sorry, I thought you didn't want to respond me....

(if you see my gallery you don't have to approve the pieces you think are not at the level, that would be bad for me and for you, please be honest but not so hard as I've seen similar pieces in the gallery to some of mine that weren't approved).

user
Fusionnist (Level 10 Operative) @ 10/10/2015 12:18

If it's ok I can retouch it quickly and send it to you to show what I mean?

user
Fusionnist (Level 10 Operative) @ 10/10/2015 12:16

I honestly believe you did this yourself. But the only problem is the colors. If you managed to get down to approx.32 colors in your piece it would pop in the gallery like a toast

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 12:13

Let's make a deal....    I'm thinking you cannot approve this piece as others will want to do the same and so many deceptive guys will try to submit non pixel art. I understand that. THEN what if I put the time lapse link in the description. Why don't you use this rule: when some piece needs a prove that's it'spixel art then ask the members to put a time lapse video in the piece's description. The what you have to evaluate is the video's authenticity. So would you let me publish this piece if I put the prove as link to time lapse, in the description?

Whhhhooooooooh calm down bro XD

The color limit is one of the untold rules of pixel art, to make it simple its because PA is 'simplistic' and evolves from imposed color restrictions. I am not at all saying that you just downscaled this at all, but it looks like it (colors)
What you'd normally do would be to define a palette when you start and as you go on, so you don't end up with that many colors. I COMPLETELY understand what you feel when you hit a wall in a gallery. The AA and stuff is fine! The ONLY problem is the colors ;)
As for your other pieces, I didn't really analyse them but I'll tell you in a second.

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 11:55

AAAND... If so....  (again..)  what about the little animated pieces as my avatar? may it's because they are three and you don't want to see more of the same, (as you say in your advices to publish pieces, then try to publish all of them in the same image...) so if that's the case I apologize for submiting those three, Then I choose the one I use as avatar and you can delete the other two.

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 11:44

Well, I'm sorry, I have to calm down. I'm conscient you havn't the means to know if this was not achieved through software filters. And this is the first time I enter a pixel art community, so I didn't know how pixel art was achived in these days, I see they use a limited color palette and they don't use (so much) antialiasing tachniqcues, I think it's because that's the way pixel art is understood. What I try to do is some old school bitmap art, maybe there's a difference between pix art and bm art, maybe that's the reason of my problem when trying to submit some piece in the gallery, so maybe this is the wrong site to publish work for me. I developed my style through the years empirically and had never compared my work with others'. I have to tell you what I think truely, my art is technically pixel art and I can prove it, but that doesn't mean what nowdays world thinks pixel art is have to be the same approach. So may ask you a question (or two), Don't you have antialiasing art/artists in your galley? If yes, then why are you saying me this? If not, then what would you do when a manual-antialiasing bitmapper appeared in your gallery, would you consider (dot by dot) bit mapping is not pixel art?

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 11:22

And thanks for your flattery, I didn't know my skills were machine-made like!!

(I have the time lapse just ask for it)

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 10:39

Please give me a response, I'm talking seriuosly and I'm a serious person, I'm sorry for using that many colors, I just use what I need, and there's nothing in this gallery that stipulates a limited color pelette, (or is it?). I'm so sorry for having to use my rights, but give me an answer as I am talking toyou, this would sound hard but, be respectful to me as I am to you and give me an answer. I am a seroius person as you are.

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 10:06

By the way, what about the little animated pieces, such as my avatar, what's the matter with them?

user
Pintor (Level 1 Private) @ 10/10/2015 10:05

So if I can prove it is manual, would it be approved?

user
Fusionnist (Level 10 Operative) @ 10/10/2015 09:39

Hi there, welcome back!

First off, this has 482 colors. So I dont know how manual this is, but thats a problem :/

I think this won't get through if you don't fix it :(
