I wanted do something for inktober, but with pixels, so I did some spooky monster encounters in only black and white. This is the second.

Definitely a little darksouls inspired! And thanks for the crit, good point, a more well defined/muscled arm would make more sense.

I don't know if anyone here plays Path of Exile, but the first boss is named Hillock and he pulls out a sword in him to smack people with it. That's what this reminded me of. The topping on the cake is that crow or raven. The long cloak is cool too, fitting for the title of Lord.

Beautiful, clean and crisp. Excellent black and white work.

Lord of Lepers sounds like a boss you'd find in darksouls ;D Looks fantastic, my only nitpick would be that I think the extended arm looks a bit noodlish and the left hand looks a bit awkard imo D;

The whole pose is fantastic altogether!

You need ungodly amounts of precision to get something like this out of merely black and white without sacrificing smoothness.

Excellent piece!

Some people are posting digitally inked work for Inktober, so I don't see why this wouldn't count xP

One thing I often find myself repeating to artists working with spot blacks: Don't be afraid to lose some edges in the shadow! The white lines you added to preserve details like the character's collar, back of their head, and foot end up flattening what could otherwise feel like a 3D piece. Have white lines when they make sense as e.g. rimlights or when they are otherwise required for things to read clearly, but otherwise, there's no need for them. Things can get lost in shadows, and that can be a very good thing!

You have what looks like a stray black pixel in the white area on the left.
