It was only after i uploaded it that i noticed i had forgotten to animate the cape... whoops. I am determined to keep at this and I'm sure that I will be able to smooth out my animations. Once again, thank you for introducing me to this site I'll be a regular face soon enough! 
That worked out nicely - good to see you posting on here. Nice little wizard character with bags of detail and some good use of colour and shading too. You should be able to set it as your avatar.
