This also looks like it is somehow worn or rusted, not quite the modern look that the title would suggest

I will try to fix this and upload it again.
The blade looks as thick and round as the handle because of the shadow gradient on it. Flat surfaces tend to keep a flat colour, and so flat colours tend to read as "flat" to people, and smooth gradients like that tend to read as "round".
The colour of the blade being shades of brown, lacks that sharp, pale blue steel look...
