First of all I'd like to say that I love this pic, your shading is awesome. Sometimes black outlines is terrible but they fit in very nice with your style.

I don't see why so many dislike black outlines. Colored outlines usually just add to color count and I really don't like how they look unless they serve a purpose. For example, if something is going to be "behind" something else, like a backdrop to a game or something, black outlines are generally a bad idea because they bring whatever is outlined to the foreground due to contrast and clarity.

good style, nice colors and a good job on the shading. The kids head might have done without the dithering too though and the dark blue reflection on the robots left leg could be a bit smoother (and or wider).

Hahahaha. Funny thing. I dislike the black outlines though, i think it might look better if the outlines were in dark or medium tones of the elements that they include.
