Funny how if you turn your head 90º, kinda looks like a hill reflecting on water, well, kinda, would need an entire composition to make sense. Anyway, i can see the cthulhu in this, although it looks more like a ancient statue of him.
was ment to be a cthulhu at first but took way to long so posted it as is ^^
I don't see any clearly recognizable shape in this, as you surely already know. However taking it as an abstract mix of indefinite shapes and textures it is very interesting and detailed. The sides look like like some sort of terrain like openning and the inner portion seems to be emerging with upward motion. The right side feels crisp and defined and the left feels blurred, like a camera depth of field effect. The colors chosen makes it feel like one cohesive fur like material with light playing on its surface. As I mentioned it looks detailed so either you went totally random and got lucky or you took your time and crafted this very carefully (I prefer to think this option). The fact that you posted this makes it an interesting experimental piece and shows that you are willing to take risks with your work. You may have arrived at this by accident but that does not mean you can't continue down this path and find a way to use it to express something deep. You seem to have patience and a good eye for unexpected color combinations that make for interesting textures and effects. Thank you for sharing and keep them comming
